Don was my Mom’s partner and “Sweetie” for the past 14 years. He always had great stories to share when we came to visit including his love of the outdoors and his many trips up north. Don and Mom had some great fishing adventures creating memories that will forever be cherished. He was always a delight, lighthearted and could probably take on any sports statistics role. Don definitely knew his baseball and hockey!! He will be missed but our family has wonderful snippets to enjoy from our time with Don.
Our hearts are with you,
Colleen, Jon, Dylan and Dalton

My sincere condolences to the Freeman family. Don and I met 29 years ago while watching our boys play hockey. We fast became friends and spent many a day fishing, attending Blue Jay games including the World Series winning game. We also took in the Leafs at the Gardens and later Air Canada Centre.. Yes sir, Don and I were experts on both those teams! I will dearly miss Don, a true friend and such a good person. Thank you! Rest in Peace my friend! John Lessif
