I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of coming to your home on Sundays with my father, playing hide and seek in those perfect hedges, and staying for dinner. Thinking of you.

Dear Mike and Shelley sorry to read about the passing of your dad. Murray and Marg were always very nice and welcoming to John, Jim and I when we were all young kids growing up on Dunwich Drive. Jim and I had the pleasure of working with your Mom at KMart when we were in high school. My thoughts and prayers are with the two of you and your families at this difficult time. Sorry to learn that Murray has passed. Jim and Murray grew up together and have always been friends. Jim remembers when they did their daily walk of 5-7 km around the streets of St.Thomas. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.

Murray was a good neighbour to my Dad from 30 Dunwich Dr.
We kept in touch after my dad moved. Playing Solitaire on Facebook. Sharing birthday wishes with each other. RIP Murray

So sorry to hear of Murray's passing. Recently I was digitizing some photos from the 40s (1942, I believe) of the Jackson family at Springbank Park in London, which I have included. Murray was 7 years older than me so as kids, we didn't have a great deal in common but I did benefit from some hand-me-down clothes and something I remember, in particular, a single trigger table hockey game. Pull the trigger and all the players on your team moved. Loads of fun.
I am at a point in writing the Lovell Family History that I would have liked to draw on Murray's research into the Smith Family. Lesson learned. Don't procrastinate! Perhaps a family member has access to that data.
I will be attending the service on Monday.
