CHARBY, Darlene, of RR3, Shedden (Frome), passed away at her residence on Saturday, January 6, 2018, in her 55th year. Partner of Gerald “Jed” Rycroft. Daughter of Vera Charby and the late John Davis (1987). Mother of Kimberlee Palmer (Mike Leroux), and Crystal Palmer (Darcy MacLeod), and grandmother of Hayley Palmer, Mikayla Leroux, Dallas MacLeod, and Kane MacLeod. Sister of Kathleen “Kay” Campbell (Andrew), Donald “Joe” Gauvin (Joan Duclos), Danny Gauvin, and Benny Gauvin (Peggy Pettigrew). Also remembered by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Darlene was born in Magog, Québec on August 27, 1963. She formerly worked as a hostess at Tim Hortons, 995 Talbot St., St. Thomas. Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Darlene’s life will be held at the Southwold Keystone Complex, 35921 Talbot Line, Shedden on Friday, January 12th at 1:30 p.m., with a reception to follow. Relatives and friends will be received prior to the service from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Flowers respectfully declined. Memorial donations to Pets/Friends for Life or the charity of one’s choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
