We were so sad to hear of the far too young passing of Darlene. She was always so kind with such a great sense of humor. She will be sadly missed. Our deepest condolences go out to Gerald, Darlene's children and grandchildren, her Mother and siblings, and all of the friends and family affected by this.

My deepest sympathy To Crystal, Kim, and the family. I want to send all my love and prayers out to you all. I am so sorry for the loss of Darlene Charby. I was shocked to hear the news that God has taken another beautiful angel at such a young age. My prayers are with you and your family. I am thinking of all of you during this sad time.

I am so sorry for your loss of your mom Crystal and Kim. You girls were little and living in Aylmer when I knew your mom. I babysat you girls a few times when your mom needed me to when she worked at the Aylmer Hotel. I'm sure you girls were too little to remember me but I remember you two. Your mother and I were pretty close back then because we worked together. We shared a lot of laughs and I remember your mother's sarcastic jokes. It had been years but finally I moved to St. Thomas and your mom remembered me and she poked me in the arm at Tim Hortons the one day I came in and we sat down on her break and caught up on our lives and what we both had been up to. It was like we'd never been apart. I'll always remember your mom and it saddens me that she didn't have more time with you girls and the grand kids. She was very proud of you two and loved you both equally and life at times was hard I know but Darlene always wanted all the best for you Crystal and Kim. Take care and I will always remember your mom with fondness. Hugs to you both.

We are saddened by your loss. She was such an outgoing presence in life. We had so many good times with her and Jed. We will treasure those times in our hearts forever. She gave our daughter Shannon an angel when Shannon was little. She treasured it and carried it with her everywhere. She still has it. Darlene is our angel now and we will miss her always. Our thoughts are with all of you. Time helps to heal but we never forget.
