Dear Grandma
It is never easy to say goodbye and it’s impossible to quickly summarize in a few short words the legacy you have left behind. I want to thank you for the love you bestowed on to Rich, Christina, myself and then to our spouses and children. You were a fierce, loyal, loving and protective grandmother. I want to thank you for a childhood filled with joyful memories of swimming at your pool on weekends, celebrating countless holidays, Santa visits, card games, camp fires, rv-ing in the summer, Nintendo tournaments, Anne of green gables marathons, your political passions and activism and many more precious memories. Thank you for always showing up for our big events and all the little moments in between. Mostly, I want to thank you for raising the kindest man in the entire world, my dad and for always making us feel special and loved. I will miss seeing you greet us at your door and waving us goodbye long after we have driven away. I could always count on turning around and seeing you still waving. We love you so much and I’m still waving to you all the way from Kentucky. Love forever, Nicole
