Obituary of Alene G. Molnar (nee Pursel)

MOLNAR, Alene G. (née Pursel)- Of St. Thomas, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, in her 79^th year.  Beloved wife of the late Alex A. Molnar (1996).  Dearly loved mother of Sue Parker of St. Thomas.  Alene was born on August 7, 1942 in London, ON.  She was a retired custodian with the Elgin County Board of Education.  Alene enjoyed playing bingo, reading, fishing, and more recently, colouring using her tablet.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or service. Alene’s cremated remains will be interred privately in Elmdale Memorial Park.  Flowers respectfully declined.  If so desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario, or the STEGH Foundation will be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
