Obituary of Joanne Pearson (nee Size)

PEARSON, Joanne (née Size)- Of Aylmer, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, in her 78^th year.  Beloved wife for nearly 60 years to James “Jim” Pearson.  Dear mother of Donna Woloschuk (Brian) of Keewatin , and Ted Pearson of London .  Grandmother of Melissa, Richard, Jim, Ashley, and David.  Sister of Virginia Baughman (Herman) of Belleville .  Also remembered by sister-in-law, Joyce O’Connor of St. Thomas , 5 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and their families, as well as dear friends, Sherrie Goodwin and Jamie Assef of St. Thomas .  Joanne was predeceased by two sisters, Donna Marie Size and Lillian Walters.  Born in Yarmouth Twp., ON, November 28, 1941 , she was the daughter of the late James and Clara (née Dowling) Size.  In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public visitation or funeral service.  Private interment of her cremated remains will be made in Elmdale Memorial Park.  Memorial donations to Animal Aide or the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.  Arrangements entrusted to the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St. , St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
