JONES, Lenore (née Smith), of Extendicare, Port Stanley, passed away at her late residence on Monday, December 17, 2018, in her 83rd year.  Beloved wife of the late Paul E. Jones (2003).  Dearly loved mother of Albert Jones (Cindy) of R.R.#1, Port Stanley , Bradley Jones of Chatham, and Pauline Sloetjes (Anthony) of Fingal.  Cherished grandmother of Robert Jones (Sherri), Brett Jones (Heidi), Sarah Hommersen, Heather Jones, Andrew Lyle, Jennifer Sloetjes (Jason), and Christopher Sloetjes.  Proud great grandmother of Tori, Zoe, Leander, Haley, and Emma.  Dear sister of June Butterwick (late Dick), Rick Smith (Barb), Bert Galipeau (Eileen), Phil Galipeau (Melinda), Dennis Galipeau, and the late Carolynne Butters (Gerry).  Loving sister-in-law of Douglas Jones (Hilda), late Mac Jones (Rose) and the late Eleanor DuChene MacKenzie (late Douglas ).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Born in Toronto , ON , December 27, 1935 , she was the daughter of the late Willis Smith and Barbara (née Fulgona) Smith, and the step-daughter of the late Francoise Smith.  Lenore was a former member of Fingal United Church and had attended Knox Presbyterian Church, St. Thomas .  Relatives and friends will be received by the family at the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St. , St. Thomas  (519-631-1160on Thursday, Dec. 20th from 6 - 9 p.m. , where a private family funeral service will be held on Friday, Dec. 21st. A private interment will be held in Hunter Cemetery .  Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
