My deepest condolences to Eileen and family. Bill was a true gentleman and a very conscientious technical teacher. We had the pleasure of having Bill on our team at Medway H.S. after he retired and he showed true professionalism and caring for the students.

I will fondly remember my highschool years spent at the Gilbert’s home in Stoneybrook. I was one of their adopted children and Bill was like a father to me. Such a wonderful family and many memories that I’ll always cherish.

Oh, how I so fondly remember Bill as my Technology Director at Forest City Secondary School in London. He was such a warm, kind, gentle, man. I have so many fond memories of working with him. I used to have to call Bill when I would be off sick. I'm sure he would shake his head and have a little snicker thinking about my antics. We adored him and so did the students. I am sorry I am unable to attend the visitation, as schools out for summer and I leave for vacation tomorrow. Bill, made a difference in the lives of so many. Safe passage Sir. With sincere sympathy.

Bill taught me machine shop at A. B. Lucas many years ago. I saw him in later years when both he and I were teaching at Fanshawe College. He was a good teacher and I am sorry to hear of his passing.
