Obituary of Charlotte Draksler (nee Creighan)

Of St. Thomas, formerly of Scarborough, ON, passed away at her residence, Royal Oak Senior Living on Friday, September 6, 2024, age 78. Beloved wife of the late Martin Draksler (2020). Dearly loved mother of Pavica “Paula” Graham (Scott), and Marijana Raic (Mike). Charlotte was proud of her grandchildren, Danijel, Ante, Zrinka, Jure, Drina, Petra, Vido, late Vesna (2023), and her great grandchildren, Dominik and Katarina. Dear sister of Mary MacKenzie, late T. Edward “Ted”, late John, and late Dr. Paul H. Creighan. Also fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and their families.

 

Born in Charlottetown, PEI, August 31, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (née Smith) Creighan. Charlotte was a retired employee of the North York General Hospital. She attended St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Catholic Church, London.

 

Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. (Prayers at 7:00 p.m.).  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Leopold Mandic Croatian Catholic Church, 2889 Westminster Dr., London on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment in Holy Angels’ Cemetery, St. Thomas.
