Obituary of Mary Lou Charlton (nee Langford)
Of St. Thomas, passed away at Caressant Care on Mary Bucke on Thursday, February 22, 2024, in her 82nd year. Wife of the late Keith E. Charlton (Dec. 18, 2023). Mother of Lorie Charlton, Gary Charlton (Andrea), Lisa Charlton (Daniel), and the late Larry Charlton (2011). Sister of the late Linda Boughner (2019). Also survived by her 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Born in St. Thomas, ON, July 6, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Vance and Helen (née Kitchen) Langford. Mary Lou was a retired personal support worker.
Relatives and friends will be received by the family on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
