Obituary of Harold W. Boe

Of St. Thomas, ON, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, in his 97th year. 

Born on July 31, 1927, in Davidson, Saskatchewan, he was a son of the late Alfred and Edith (née Cawthra) Boe. He was a St. Thomas resident since 1947. Harold worked as an R.N.A. at the St. Thomas Psychiatric Hospital for 35 years. He was a member of Union United Church, having been a former member of the choir.

Husband of the late Inez (née Haines) Boe (2010). Father of John (Shayne), Carol, Susan (Nick), Ken (Michelle), and the late (infant) Margaret “Margie" (1954). Harold is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and their families. In addition to his parents, wife, and infant daughter, he was predeceased by a great granddaughter, three sisters, and three brothers.

Relatives and friends will be received by the family on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
