Obituary of Keith E. Charlton

Of Chartwell Aylmer, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, December 18, 2023, in his 85th year. Husband of Mary Lou (née Langford) Charlton. Father of Lorie Charlton, Gary Charlton (Andrea), Lisa Charlton (Daniel), and the late Larry Charlton (2011). Brother of Dorothy Brackenbury (late James).  Also survived by his 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Born in Kingsmill, ON, March 10, 1939, he was the son of the late Clark and Myrtle (née Kicksee) Charlton. Keith was a retired custodian. He began his career with the Elgin County Board of Education in 1967, and retired from the Thames Valley District School Board in 1995.

Relatives and friends will be received by the family on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario will be gratefully acknowledged.
