Obituary of Francesco P. "Frank" Micelli

Of St. Thomas, ON, passed away at the Valleyview Home on Saturday, June 24, 2023, in his 96th year.  Beloved husband of Eviliana “Evi” (née Sbarra) Micelli. Dearly loved father of Renato Micelli (Sherry). Dear brother-in-law of Nicholas “Nick” and Brigitta Sbarra. Frank is also fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and their families. He was the last surviving member of his own immediate family, having been predeceased by a number of siblings.

Born in the Province of Udine, Italy, August 13, 1927, he was a son of the late Tobia and Armellina (née Bezzo) Micelli. Frank was a retired employee of Clark Equipment of Canada Limited, St. Thomas. He attended St. Anne’s Church. Frank was a member of the Fogolâr Furlan of London and District. He enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Public visitation will be held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Angels’ Church, 502 Talbot Street, St. Thomas on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.  Interment to follow in Holy Angels’ Cemetery.  Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
