Jim was one of the most authentic fun loving guys I’ve ever met. He would bring a smile just from his dry wit alone. I only had a handful of interactions with him as I know Jane but I will he made an impact and he will be remembered. My heart goes out to you Jane as I know you not only lost your love but your best friend as well. Take Care Peggy

Jane,
Carol and I can't put into words how much we will miss Jim. He always had a smiling face, a great story, a joke, and a candy.
Jim will be missed by everyone he knew and everyone he met. We are both still in shock and words will never make up for your loss. We will never forget Jim and will always remember him for his joy of life and everyone in it.
Carol and Sheldon Stannard

Jane,
Jimmy was just a great guy. He loved to pop in for a visit but never overstayed his welcome. We always had a laugh and gossip when he came to visit and we were always pleased to see him. He was a great friend to Cristal and all the girls at Princess Auto. She misses him too. We will never forget his famous candy little girl comment when he handed you a Werther's candy. I think he must have bought them by the case. He lived a good life and always talked about you with love in his voice. I can only imagine how much you will miss him

I am extremely sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He grew up across the street from my grandparents on Manitoba Street & Norma taught me at Homedale School. Jim certainly was a character & I enjoyed his humour when we saw him at Tim's coffee shop. My thoughts & prayers are with you at this time.
