Ollie, you were the Alpha and the Omega for me. Getting to know you and your husband Jim in the seventies provided great comfort for me when I started my total 37 year career at the St. Thomas Psychiatric Hospital. So enjoyed the homemade baked goods that Jim brought in, to share with staff.
Then years later our paths crossed again playing our most beloved game of Euchre. It was an honour when you invited me to sit at the starting table on Monday afternoon at the Masonic Centre. I loved getting your coffee during break time, both at the Masonic and at the Port Stanley Legion. Giving you a hug was routine at every card game.
I will miss all of it for some time to come, but knowing that you have a spot reserved for me in heaven.
