Obituary of Aniela "Angela" Zmudzinska

Of the Valleyview Home, St. Thomas, passed away at her residence on Saturday, November 5, 2022, in her 100^th year. Wife of the late Jozef Zmudzinski (1956). Dearly loved mother of Krystyna Wyroslak, Edward Zmudzinski (Wanda), Genowefa Burzynska (Pawel), and Mark Zmudzinski (Halina). Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, 3 sisters, as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.

Born in Poland, March 6, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Wojciech and Karolina (née Dytko) Mendyka. Angela came to Delhi, ON from Poland in 1969, and shortly thereafter to St. Thomas. She formerly worked in housekeeping at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. Angela was a member of Holy Angels’ Roman Catholic Church, St. Thomas.

Relatives and friends will be received by the family at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Sunday, November 13^th from 2:00-5:00 p.m.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Angels’ Roman Catholic Church, 502 Talbot St., St. Thomas on Monday, November 14^th at 1:00 p.m., followed by interment in Holy Angels’ Cemetery. The wearing of a mask at the visitation and mass is encouraged.
