HALLYBURTON, Robert
Of RR7, St. Thomas, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Saturday, October 8, 2022, in his 88th year. Beloved husband for almost 60 years to Lorraine (neé Blackman) Hallyburton. Dearly loved father of Jason Hallyburton (Fannie). Brother of Roland Hallyburton and Roy Hallyburton. Robert is also remembered by his in-laws, and many nieces, nephews, and their families. He was predeceased by two sisters and eight brothers.
Robert was born in Westville, Nova Scotia, May 14, 1935. He was a son of the late Frank and Glendola (neé Messom) Hallyburton. Robert was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company of Canada’s St. Thomas Assembly Plant.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place, and private interment will be made in McArthur Cemetery, Southwold Twp. Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
