Obituary of Donna Lockwood (nee MacDonald)

Of St. Thomas, passed away at Extendicare, Port Stanley on Friday, September 2, 2022, at the age of 88. Donna was born on July 15, 1934 in St. Thomas. Wife of Wallace “Wally” Lockwood, who together, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on August 30, 2022. Mother of Peter Lockwood (Julie), and LuAnn Lambert (late George). Grandmother of Christopher Lockwood (Melissa), and Becky Taylor-LeBlanc (David), and great grandmother of Paige, Karmin, Jacob, and Lorna. She is also remembered by her nieces, Joan and Nancy. Donna was predeceased by her parents, Carman and Florence (née Mann) MacDonald, and sisters, Madeline “Ella” Small and Frances MacDonald.

Donna was a former member of St. John’s Anglican Church, St. Thomas, and a former member of the Talbot Park Golf Course and the Belmont Golf Club.

In keeping with Donna’s wishes, cremation has taken place.  Relatives and friends will be received by the family for a memorial visitation at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Monday, September 12th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. A private graveside service for the immediate family will follow at Elmdale Memorial Park.
