Obituary of Isabel Martin (nee Futcher)

MARTIN, Isabel (née Futcher), formerly of RR8, St. Thomas, passed away at her residence, the Elgin Manor, RR1, St. Thomas, on Saturday, December 23, 2017, in her 94^th year.  Wife of the late Julien G. “Jud” Martin (2002).  Sister of Robin Jeffrey (late Roy) of Belleville, Allison H. “Al” Futcher (late Kate) of RR1, St. Thomas, and the late John E. “Johnny” Futcher (late Mary).  Isabel is also survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.  Born in St. Thomas, ON, September 5, 1924, she was the daughter of the late J.R. “Bob” Futcher and the late Dorothy (née Horton) Futcher.  In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Private interment was made in Elmdale Memorial Park.  Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be gratefully acknowledged.  Arrangements entrusted to the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
