Although dad wasn't well, it has been a shock to lose him so soon after Melba. He was kind, generous, had a great smile and great sense of humor. He was a great support to his own community and to others that lots know nothing about. He was very quiet about what he did-a very humble man. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him, and the one funny thing that he said while he was still home was that he had gotten to the age where he didn't even buy "green bananas" anymore. That has caused great laughter with many. God bless you kids as you have had to go through this so soon, but you have no regrets. We are here for you and we love you.
