Of Lambeth, ON, passed away peacefully with family at his side, at his residence, Ashwood Manor on Friday, September 3, 2021, in his 78th year.  Beloved husband of Crystal “Crys” (née Mutter) Griffin.  Dearly loved father of Kellie Buttner (Steve), and Craig Griffin (Niru).  Loving step-father of Tracey and Sherie.  Ron was proud of his grandchildren, Ben and Kasey, and was pleased to have a new granddaughter on the way.   Dear brother of Larry Griffin (late Sandy).  Loved uncle of Lyndsay (Deborah), and Laurie (Theresa).  Born in St. Thomas on May 17, 1944, he was a son of the late Harold and Margaret (née Mighton) Griffin.  Ron was a retired administration supervisor at 3M Canada, London.  He played hockey growing up and tennis for many years at Greenhills Country Club. Ron loved to travel, play cards and watch sports. He was a light hearted patient man with a great sense of humour and he will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and private interment will be made in Elmdale Memorial Park.  A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a future date.   Memorial donations to the STEGH Foundation re: Oncology Unit will be gratefully acknowledged.  Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and private interment will be made in Elmdale Memorial Park.  A celebration of Ron’s life will be held at a future date.
