Obituary of Lois Couse (nee Hall)

COUSE, Lois (née Hall) - Of St. Thomas, formerly RR3, St. Thomas, passed away at her residence on Friday, July 16, 2021, in her 92^nd year.  Wife of the late William H. “Bill” Couse (1994).  Dearly loved mother of Patricia “Pat” MacKenzie (née Halpin).  Lois is also survived by a number of half-siblings, as well as many nieces, nephews and their families.  Her sister, Doris Wickwire and brother, Russel Hall predeceased her.  Born in Norton, New Brunswick, April 28, 1930, Lois was a resident of St. Thomas and area since 1948.  She was a daughter of the late Boyce C. Hall and late Ethel (née Hall) Hall, and step-daughter of the late Eldeena (née Earle) Bonner.  Lois formerly worked as a waitress at several locations in St. Thomas.  A private time of remembrance was held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160), followed by interment in South Park Cemetery.  Memorial donations to the charity of one’s choice will be gratefully acknowledged.
