MYCROFT, Eileen (née Caughell)- Formerly of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at Extendicare, Port Stanley on Thursday, July 1, 2021, in her 93rd year.  Wife of the late Allen Wicks (1957), late Albert “Ab” Mycroft (1983), and the late Jack Watson (2020).  Dearly loved mother of Judy Pritchard (Bob), Albert “Ab” Mycroft (Karen), Brian Mycroft (Lise), Robert Mycroft (Gudrun), Jay Richard Mycroft (Ellie), and Colleen Mycroft (Tony).  She was proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Also remembered by her nieces, nephews, and their families.  The last of her siblings, Eileen was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Park and brothers, William “Bill” Caughell and John G. Caughell.  Born in St. Thomas, ON, October 5, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Olivia (née Tummon) Caughell.  Eileen was a retired purchasing agent with Clevite, St. Thomas and a former employee of Huron and Erie.  She formerly attended St. Hilda’s - St. Luke’s Anglican Church.  Eileen enjoyed reading and playing cards.  A family service was held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Monday, July 5th, followed by interment in Elmdale Memorial Park.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be gratefully acknowledged.  The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Brendan Boyd and the nurses and staff of Extendicare, Port Stanley for the compassionate care they provided to Eileen.

Arrangements

A family service was held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Monday, July 5th, followed by interment in Elmdale Memorial Park.
