I just learned of Sandra’s passing today and wanted to relate how much our extended family cared for her. She was a dear friend of my cousin Doug and when a visit was to be had in Winnipeg, we enjoyed her warmth, vitality and her genuine interest in everyone in the room . She treasured her boys, her sisters and her nursing friends so much.

Sloane and Aubrey loved their Grandma V. Shortly after giving birth to both girls, Sandra helped care for both girls. She was a wonderful nurse and Grandma. She loved giving the girls books and would read to them. Thank you for being a loving mother-in-law. We will miss you.

My deepest Sympathy to Family Members and Friends at this time. I went to school in Rapid City Manitoba with Sandy and she babysat my daughter in Winnipeg when she was taking her nursing studies. Fondly remember our trip to Hawaii together with other school friends. Will Miss you!
