Our hearts are broken and only time will fix this. Scotty was a man of integrity. He loved Chris and Jacqui beyond words and was so excited to meet his new granddaughter Everleigh. I loved that man so much. He was the glue that held this family together. Scotty, we will miss you forever. We will love him forever and miss that booming voice. Rest In Peace... Love You

It is with great sadness that I heard of the passing of my old friend and work mate, Scotty. I fondly remember the many good times that we had in our early years, and the excited call that I received from him when he first found out that he got the job with the St. Thomas Police. He was a dedicated police officer and loving family man. He cherished Jeana and the kids. He leaves an empty spot in my heart.

Scott wore his heart on his sleeve, and had a terrific sense of humour. He was never adverse to poking fun at himself. In our work, we carried a ton of mutual respect for each other. Although we did converse a bit following my retirement, Scott was among those people I really missed. I wish all of God's blessing on his family at this difficult time.

Jeana and family. I was very saddened to learn of Scott’s passing. We would cross paths when police and fire were at the same incident. Whenever he would come across any fire memorabilia, he would always let me know. He was a very nice man and was proud of his profession. Please accept my condolences. Mark Walters
