Obituary of Elisabeth A. Veger (nee DeVries)

VEGER, Elisabeth A. (née DeVries) - Of St. Thomas, ON, formerly of the Vancouver, BC area, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, in her 95^th year.  Beloved wife of the late John M. Veger (2004).  Dearly loved mother of Rob Veger (Linda) of Comox, BC.  She was proud of her granddaughter, Deanna Grogan (Michael) and her great granddaughter, Kayleigh Grogan, all of St. Thomas.  Elisabeth was born in The Netherlands, September 8, 1926 and immigrated to Canada in 1959.  She resided in the Vancouver, BC area for many years, moving to St. Thomas in 2006.  In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service.  Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
