Obituary of Iva Baker (nee Underhill)
Peacefully on Sunday morning, August 30, 2020, Iva Baker, 95, formerly of St. Thomas, went to be with her Lord and Saviour.
“Absent from the body, present with the Lord.”
Devoted wife of 63 years to the late Walter Baker (June 29, 2008). Much loved mom of Diana Cushman, Rick and Sharon Baker, Julie and Wade Spitzke, and Michael Thompson. She will also be missed by many, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In consideration of current conditions, a private family funeral service was held at Eastwood Fellowship Baptist Church, St. Thomas on Wednesday, September 2nd followed by interment in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Vienna. If so desired, memorial donations to Samaritan’s Purse Canada will be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
