Judy's death came as a complete surprise to her friends in Burlington. Judy was a volunteer for many years at the Breast Cancer Support Services. When we needed a volunteer Judy was always ready for any task. She was just a great and kind woman. I had not seen Judy in a couple of years as BCSS closed its doors. A loss to our city and to all the volunteers like Judy. Judy will always be remembered as a wonderful woman, volunteer and a friend to all. May she rest in peace. Judy was on my Race team BJ'S CUTIES FOR RUN FOR THE CURE IN BURLINGTON. For many years we walked as a team in Burlington supporting the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. We also volunteered together at Breast Cancer Support Services in Burlington. She struggled with this disease for such a long time and now she will no longer suffer from this dreadful disease. Rest in peace where you will no longer suffer.

Judy was my first charge nurse when I arrived as a brand new nurse in the I.C.U. at Hamilton General. We "clicked". She was a wonderful mentor, lovely friend and fun travel companion. Our memorable trip to Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry will be a cherished memory of our friendship. Hope there's some good country music up there!

Judy was a very good friend and we shared many good conversations throughout the years. Both here in Hamilton and also while she was in Shedden. She was a wonderful caring daughter to her Mom and Dad and looked after them with loving care while they were in Nursing Home and Hospital respectively. We had great times going to the Shaw Festival and having lunch in the park. I will miss Judy. She was such a great person. My condolences to all the family.
