Obituary of Eva Noake (nee Gore)

NOAKE, Eva (née Gore) -Of London, formerly of RR3, St. Thomas and Watford, ON, passed away at Middlesex Terrace, RR1, Delaware on Monday, September 30, 2019, in her 97^th year.  Beloved wife of the late Ernest P. “Ernie” Noake (1992).  Loving mother of Paul Noake, Carol Cluett (David), Marion Salton (Don), and Joy Smith (Mike).  Cherished grandmother of Crystal (Corey), Joshua (Natalie), Elaine (Darren), Katie (Jason), Graham, Steven (Mandy), Kelly, Bethany, Josiah, Sarah-Arlene, and Steven-David.  She was proud of her great grandchildren, Kayla, Noelle, Matthew, Owen S., Brayden, Sawyer, Elijah, Ryan, Connor, Owen P., and Lydia.  Dear sister of Ada.  Also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and their families.  Eva was predeceased by siblings, Dexter, Bertha, Faye, Stanley, Marie, and Phyllis.  Born in Chatham, ON, June 8, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Edna (née Jinkerson) Gore.  Eva was a member of LifeHouse St. Thomas (formerly known as the St. Thomas Pentecostal Assembly).    Relatives and friends will be received by the family at the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160) on Thursday evening, October 3^rd from 7:00-9:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be held at LifeHouse St. Thomas, 144 Wellington St., St. Thomas on Friday, October 4^th at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception in the lower church hall.  Interment in Aylmer Cemetery.  Memorial donations to LifeHouse St. Thomas Building Fund or The Gideons will be gratefully acknowledged.
