We have only just learned of Aunt Kay’s passing and am not sure if this condolence site is still active but are hoping so. We want to send our deepest sympathy to John and family and to Mary Kay in their loss. Aunt Kay was always a happy lady and I have lots of memories of times our families spent together. I especially enjoyed the many games she and Mary Kay came up with for the many Fowler picnics through the years. Linda (Fowler) And Gary Mulawka

Mary Kay and John. So sorry to hear that your mother has died. When I was in town a number of years ago, I dropped in on her at the house to say hello and we had a lovely visit. She wanted me to go across the street and check out the new owners of my former family home! Our sympathies on your loss. Janet and Ken

Mary Kay and John
My condolences to you both and your family.
I have always respected your mother’s commitment to family and education.
When your mom first came to Knox, it was amazing to watch her former students line up to speak to her, some of whom were fellow choristers of mine there. They had carried their fondness for your mom all of those years.
For me, your mother has continued to be an inspiration in my social work career as I work with families who face various challenges. She was able to overcome these challenges with grace and determination.
I feel so privileged to have known her.
I wish you peace in your bereavement with the knowledge that she was truly a very special woman.
Sincerely
Judy Graves
