AUSTIN, Margaret “Peggy” (née Fletcher), of St. Thomas, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, January 21, 2019, in her 70th year. Beloved wife of David J. Austin. Dearly loved mother of Bonnie Hussey (Shane) and Tammy Pardy (Larry). Cherished grandmother of Kyle (Jamie), Kory (Kelsey), Jaya and Cole. Proud great grandmother of Jade and Violet. Dear sister of Marsha, George, Debbie, Nettie, late Barb and the late Shannon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Bear River, NS, August 16, 1949, she was the daughter of the late George and Jean (née Brooks) Fletcher. A private family funeral service was held at the SIFTON FUNERAL HOME, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160). Interment was made in Elmdale Memorial Park. Memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Elgin Branch will be gratefully acknowledged.
