Martin, Leise and families...this message is from Kathy (Carter) Blake. My Dad was John, brother of Nan, Bill and Ruby. Their father was Uncle Lionel’s brother, William. Dad spoke of Rosie so often and when he and Mom were able, they visited her in St. Thomas. Dad has been gone since June of 2015, Mom passed away last summer at 95, still in her own home. What a wonderful age for Rosie to reach at 93. I hope she was still able to tell stories. We miss Mom and Dad’s family reminiscences so much. Aunt Ruby let my brother Bud know about Rosie’s passing. Bud lives near Bayfield with his wife Mary. Sisters Jane, Linda and her husband Gord are in St. Marys. John and I live in the country north of St. Marys. We are thinking fondly of your family at this time.

Kathy; Your kind and thoughtful tribute to Mom is most appreciated. Indeed it was always a pleasure to see your Mom & Dad when they visited St. Thomas to see my Gramps (Uncle Lionel) and Mom. Leise & I were very happy that Mom was able to enjoy a comfortable, healthy and independent life for many years. She will be greatly missed.
Thank you. Martin

Rose was a lovely person. I recall many conversations around the kitchen table with Rose and Paul at their beautiful home in St.Thomas.
Always welcoming and kind to a group of teenagers. I remember them lending the Studebaker to Martin and I quite a few times.
That was quite a ride.
Always quick with a smile and a laugh and maybe even a tear or two.
Rest In Peace Rose.
Bless you
Gord Campbell

Dear Tammy,
Thank you for your condolences and thoughtful message. Very much appreciated.
Mom and Dad cherished their friendship with Bill and Jean. They enjoyed visits at their lovely home that also included Missy, you and Jackie. After dad passed, I know that Mom was grateful for the continued friendship and support from Bill and Jean. Thank you dear Loveday Family. ❤️
